Industrial ammonia chiller units have single or dual open screw compressors depending on cooling capacity with an oil cooling system, plate heat exchanger as the oil cooler, plate and shell evaporator as gravity evaporator, evaporative condenser, and control system. Units are completely assembled with all interconnecting refrigerant piping and internal wiring except evaporative condenser piping and wiring.
