Process in Brief: Biomass has beendeveloped in SBR tanks - usually operatingin a dual tank mode where air is applied viablowers. The type of operation is four-stage- Filling, aeration, settling and emptying.Waste water is filled into the tank, after it isfilled to the full level, aeration is started fora certain period of time, then aeration isstopped and the biomass is allowed tosettle in the tank. After the biomass hassettled, the clear wastewater is dischargedfrom the system.
