NOVA Pumped Expansion and Pressurization Unit keeps the water pressure constant by absorbing the expansion and contraction movements in the installation. It balances the volume that increases or decreases with the change in water temperature, ensures stable operation of the system and extends the life of the installation equipment.

Thanks to its compact design, it takes up less space than conventional expansion tanks and minimizes operating costs with low maintenance requirements. It prevents energy losses in the installation by precisely managing the pressure with its smart automation system.

Working Principle

Pumped Expansion and Pressurization Unit ensures stable operation of the system by balancing the pressure changes in heating and cooling systems. When the water temperature rises, the expanding water is drawn from the system and stored in the expansion tank inside the unit; when the temperature drops, the missing water is pumped back into the installation with the help of a pump. In this way, the installation pressure is kept constant with a precision of ±0.1 bar, energy losses are prevented and the life of the equipment is extended. Thanks to its smart automation system, it can work integrated with building management systems and offers remote control.
