Hot and Cold Water Coils are produced in suitable sizes and capacities by optimising mechanical and thermal design in order to meet our customers’ needs. We avoid from oversizing and thus give particular importance to both competitiveness and reliability with the right design.
Required calculations are made using Coils software.
Capacities of Hot – Cold Water Coils were certified by EUROVENT for 4035-5/8”, 3228-1/2”, 2522-3/8” molds.
FINS :
Coils are of plate fin type with corrugated/louvered/flat construction providing uniform support for all coil tubes. Coils are manufactured with aluminum, epoxy coated aluminum, hydrophilic coated aluminum or copper fins with self-spacing collars which completely cover the entire tube surface.
The fin thickness can be 0.10 mm, 0.12 mm, 0.15 mm, 0,20 or 0.25 mm depending on the application.
Standard fin thickness’ are 0.10 mm for 1916/2522/3026 and 3228 geometries, 0.12 mm for 4035 geometry.
TUBING :
5 mm/ 7mm/ 5/16" / 3/8”, 1/2” and 5/8” copper tubes are mechanically expanded to form an interference fit with the fin collars.
HEADERS :
Headers are constructed from threaded carbon steel for water coils for standard applications unless otherwise specified.
Headers are constructed from copper for steam, DX and condenser coils unless otherwise specified.
Water coils’ return headers are equipped with factory-installed 1/8” FPT air vent connection placed at the highest point available on face of the header.
CONNECTIONS :
Standard construction fluid connections are male pipe thread (MPT) and constructed from steel for water coils, copper for steam, DX and condenser coils.
CASING :
Casings and end plates are made from galvanized steel for water and steam coils; aluminum for DX coils. Casings are made from galvanized steel, endplates are made from aluminum for condenser coils.
Aluminum and stainless steel casings are available.
Double flanged casings on top and bottom of finned height can be provided to allow stacking of the coils. All sheet metal brakes are bent to 90 degrees +/- 2 degrees unless specified otherwise.
Coils can be constructed with intermediate tube/support sheets fabricated from a sheet stock of the same material as the casing. One intermediate/tube support shall be provided for finned lengths higher than 1500 mm.
