Fan Filter Unit

HFU Fliter unit is designed to supply filtered air to clean rooms; having a built-in radial fan and mostly ceiling installed.

The EC fan draws air from above and supplies air into the room through the HEPA filter positioned under the unit as a laminar or near-laminar flow. The inside surfaces of the unit are covered with acoustically absorbent material to decrease the sound level. Optionally, a washable pre-filter can be installed before the fan inlet, to protect the fan from dust and small particles and to extend the HPA filter life. Since the pressure drop in the filter will increase due to contamination, the air flow rate will decrease. To keep the flow contant, an optional control unit for the EC motor can be supplied. Filter changing is made by accessing from the top. The unit sits freely on the HEPA filter positioned in the ceiling grid.
