• Conventional Cyclones: Used to separate large dust particles (up to 50μ) from air and reduce dust load on collection filters, but are less effective for particles smaller than 10μ.
• Multicyclones: More efficient than conventional cyclones, separating finer dust particles from waste gases, such as flue gases, and offering higher dust holding efficiencies.
• Operation: Dusty gas enters the cyclone tangentially, creating a helical flow that directs denser particles to the walls by centrifugal force. These particles then flow into a conical storage bunker, while purified gas exits through the center outlet.
• Features: High dust particle retention efficiency, pre-storage of collected dust in a bunker, and customizable designs for various capacities and gases.
• Cost Efficiency: Low operating and maintenance costs.
