- When a pump is turned off, DENZ F11 Foot Valves prevent the medium from flowing backwards from the suction pipe. Resilient seating ensures complete closure of the valve disc. Metal seated foot valves are also optional. The spring mechanism of the valve ensures that the valve is closed prior to backflow reaching it, thus minimizing surge conditions. Due to the silent axial check valve mechanism, DENZ Foot Valves operate rapidly and quietly. By utilizing its filter mechanism, the DENZ Foot Valve prevents various parts of the water supply from leaking into the pipeline and damaging the pump. In order to minimize head loss, the foot valve body is designed in a globe shape, and can be installed vertically with the direction of flow upwards.

• • This valve is designed as a resilient seated type. There is an option to order the metal seated type for specific orders.
• • 100% of the valves are subjected to Hydrostatic tests according to EN 12266-1. Pressure for seat:

• • AISI420 stainless steel spindle for high strength and corrosion resistance. Upper grade shaft materials can be used.
