- H14 Type Irrigation Hydrants used commonly to provide agricultural regions with the vital water they need. They are directly connected to the irrigation networks. A lower and upper body, as well as angled nozzles, make up a hydrant. Mechanical components including the handwheel, plug, and stem enable the on/ off operation. There is a bit that prevents freeze. The flow rate through the hydrant is controlled and limited by “Flow Limiters” at the exits of these valves so as not to exceed the intended rate. Each branch of the hydrant has a cartridge type regulator attached to it in order to reduce pressure to the required level.
