SHS series shelter ventilation devices are the most suitable devices to be used in shelter ventilation systems. Thanks to their compact structure, they can be mounted directly to air ducts without the need for large elbows and converters. The body is made of high quality galvanized steel resistant to corrosion. The fans used are radial fans with directly coupled backward curved blades. Thanks to the intervention cover, the fan and filters can be intervened without removing the duct connection. Depending on the project, lead coating or lead separator can be added. It can be used in shelter ventilation systems for various institutions, organizations, offices, residences, hospitals, houses.
According to the legislation, mechanical ventilation is mandatory regardless of the type of shelter. During protection times, the air taken from outside is passed through a filtering system such as a nuclear type hepa filter and given into the shelter. At the time of arrival, the air taken from outside is only passed through the G4 type coarse filter and given into the shelter.
For shelter ventilation, the air flow rates required for one person are taken during the protection times given in the table below. The following capacity values are minimum values and any additional measures to increase air quality can be used in the design. The duct design, the number of culverts and their placement are arranged by the mechanical installation project designer. This arrangement is made by taking into account the standards of TS 3419 “Ventilation and Air Conditioning Facilities-Design Rules” and TS 3420 “Ventilation and Air Conditioning Facilities Placement Rules”.
